Christopher and Bruce jointly lead De-Risk Intellectual Holdings LLC, overseeing intellectual property stewardship, strategic planning, commercialization, business development, and continued innovation. De-Risk serves as the long-term steward of the intellectual property created through their partnership. They also serve as interim Co-Chief Executive Officers of Aegis Corp, the research and development subsidiary of De-Risk Intellectual Holdings LLC. Aegis advances the technologies developed within the De-Risk ecosystem while serving as the public-facing operating company responsible for customer engagement, subscription services, strategic partnerships, and ongoing support. Their long-term plan is to appoint a permanent Chief Executive Officer before transitioning into the roles of Chief Innovation and Vision Officers, allowing them to concentrate on research, strategic direction, and future technological development while remaining the founders and long-term visionaries of De-Risk.

Although each founder brings unique experiences and perspectives, every significant invention, business initiative, and strategic decision is developed collaboratively. Their partnership reflects a belief that enduring organizations are built through shared leadership, disciplined execution, and collective responsibility rather than isolated executive authority.

Public Service and Political Leadership

Before dedicating their full attention to technology entrepreneurship, Christopher and Bruce were active advocates for equality in Alabama. In 2015 they co-founded Equality Wiregrass, an organization dedicated to advancing LGBTQ+ equality and supporting the movement for marriage equality and broader civil rights throughout southeast Alabama. Their advocacy helped elevate local conversations surrounding equality, inclusion, and equal treatment under the law while strengthening community engagement during a pivotal period in the state's history.

Building upon that work, Christopher and Bruce worked together in public advocacy through Christopher's 2018 Rethink Alabama gubernatorial campaign. As the first openly gay candidate to seek Alabama's governorship, Christopher challenged long-standing political norms while advocating ethics reform, government accountability, civil rights, educational investment, responsible technological innovation, and criminal justice modernization.

Bruce played an integral role in managing the campaign, helping direct strategy, operations, communications, and organizational planning. Their collaborative leadership during the campaign established many of the principles that would later define their companies, including shared decision-making, long-term planning, accountability, and disciplined execution.

Although the campaign faced the realities of grassroots politics in the Deep South, it broadened public discussion surrounding ethics reform, transparency, LGBTQ+ representation, educational investment, and government modernization. Several issues championed during the campaign later gained greater prominence within Alabama's political conversation, demonstrating that thoughtful leadership and practical solutions could influence public dialogue even in challenging political environments.

Christopher and Bruce have consistently viewed entrepreneurship as the creation of enduring institutions rather than simply successful products. De-Risk provides long-term stewardship of their intellectual property, while Aegis serves as the operational engine responsible for research, engineering, commercialization, customer engagement, and continued technological advancement.
